Julie Matthews, CNC

Julie Matthews is a Certified Nutrition Consultant specializing in autistic spectrum disorders. Her work is based on detailed research and understanding of the biochemistry of Autism and the role of nutrition to restore health.

She has been a Defeat Autism Now (DAN!) practitioner for the past 6 years, author of Nourishing Hope for Autism, and is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.

Helping people with autistic spectrum disorders (ASDs) is her passion, as she’s long been fascinated with biochemistry and the intricacies of the body’s systems.

When she first discovered that most people with ASDs also have imbalanced biochemistry, she was intrigued and wanted to learn more.

Julie teaches Cooking to Healing classes, hosts two radio shows, and has a nutrition practice in San Francisco where she works with families from around the world.
